ABSTRACT
With the Chinese munication reform anization and the issuing of the 3G licenses, the Chinese munications market environment has changed fundamentally. petition munications industries and for customers has e increasingly fierce. In petitive environment of customer-centric, identifying the customer's consumption characteristics, consumption patterns, and establishing the accurate marketing model of munications customers' business from plicated historical data have e one of the enterprises winning chips. In this paper, data mining techniques was used to analyze the munications data.
Firstly, the research background, research status and the basic theoretical knowledge of data mining were introduced briefly in the paper. And then, the data was preprocessed according to the characteristics of the munication data and data set used for data mining analysis in this paper was established. bined with business requirements, the data mining technology was used in munication fields of data analysis.
In this paper, the analysis model of munication business downturn was established by cluster analysis and decision tree method. The model was used to predict customers with the business downturn tendency, and then the appropriate retention measures were made to reduce the loss of operators. For GPRS services used by customers, the associated analysis model of GPRS services was established using cluster analysis and Apriori association rules, then GPRS associated services were mended to the high-value customers according to the results of the analysis. For the unbound GPRS services with good development prospect, customer prediction model of unbound GPRS service was established using the CART decision tree and decision tree algorithm respectively, pared the results of
