Mark Twain
He is one of the American’s greatest writers, journalists(记者) and humorists(幽默大师). He is also the founder of US critical realism literature(批判现实主义文学), renowned world short story master, the greatest humorist of the19th century in American literature.

About the background
In the mid-19th century, the southern part of the United States is plantation salvery, and the northern part is bourgeois employee labor system, the contradictions between these two kinds of system caused the political and economic oppositions and concentrated on the issue about supporting and opposing the slavery system and this caused the civil war.
The novel satirizes(讽刺) the foolish religion and condemns(谴责) the sin of slavery by describing white kids with a fugitive slave lived in a vagabond’s life Mississippi river and propagandizes(宣传) the idea that everyone enjoys the rights of freedom regardless of race.
