摘要
本文是一篇翻译项目的实践报告,共分为四个部分。首先描述了此次翻译项目的背景,意义和报告结构。其次,对原文背景及原文本的文体特征作了介绍。科普文本的文体特征特点可以归为:科学性、文学性、通俗性、趣味性。然后详细描述了翻译过程中的所运用到的理论和应该采取的翻译策略,介绍了赖斯的文本类型说,并从科普文本的标题、词汇、句型等三个层面分析了科普翻译过程中采用的翻译技巧和方法。最后,笔者给出了本次翻译的心得,提出仍待解决的问题,进行了总结与反思。
赖斯根据交际功能将文本分为信息功能型文本、表达功能型文本和感染功能型文本。科普文本属于信息功能型文本和表达功能型文本,其文本特征的特殊性说明了其应该采取交际翻译策略,从而更好的满足读者的需求。

ABSTRACT
This paper is a translation project report. It consists of four parts. First, it describes the background, importance and reporting structure of the project. Second, it introduces the background and stylistic features of the texts. Popular science text is characterized by science, literature, popular and fun. Then, it makes a detailed description of the translation theory and strategies that should be taken in the process of the translation and introduces Reiss‘s Theory of Text Typology and analyses the translation methods from the aspects of headline, vocabulary and sentence. Finally, the author summarizes the translation lessons, and reflects upon unsolved problems.
Reiss divides texts into informative, expressive and operative texts according to the informative function. Popular science text belongs to informative and operative texts and its special characteristics show that it should take municative translation strategies so as to better meet the needs of readers.
