THE AUTHOR
Koji Yagi was born in 1944 in Aichi Prefecture, Ja•
pan, and graduated from the Department of Ar•
chitecture of the Tokyo Institute of Technology in
1969. From 1971 to 1974, he worked with the
Syrian government as a technical advisor sent by
the Overseas Technical Cooperation Agency of Ja•
pan. From 1975 to 1976, he was with the Tropical
