内容提要
自赵元任等老一辈语言学家开始大规模的湖南方言调查以
来,湘语的研究已取得了很大的发展,但湘语研究的成果多在语
音和词汇方面,至于语法方面,除少数几个地点有比较深入的调
查研究以外,大多数地区差不多还是空白。因此对湘语语法作一
种拓荒性的综合研究正是本课题的宗旨。本书主要从以下几个方
面进行论述:一、总论。回顾了湘语语法研究的历史与现状。
二、构词篇。全面讨论了湘语的形态类型、代词系统、介词系
统、量词系统、体貌系统、否定表达式以及时间词、方位词的研
究等。三、句法篇。对湘语的语序、处置式、被动式、疑问句、
比较句、“得”字句等句法特点作了重点研究。四、对湘语语法
的规律性特征进行总的归纳。
湘语语法研究具有其特殊和重要的意义,由于湘语本身的特
殊性:处在一种南北方言、东西方言相交接的环境,是一种过渡
性的方言,对它的深入研究不仅能对湘语语法的规律性特征作一
种宏观的概括,而且对揭示东西部和南北部方言的共性和差异性
特征有着极为重要的意义和价值。
