Abstract
Facing resource scarcity, information loss, sustainability problems and productivity challenges, the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Facility Management and Deconstruction Industry munities to innovate a new technological revolution, helping architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and owners to manage building resources efficiently.
An integrated overall process called Building Information Modeling es the most advanced technology. With BIM technology, accurate virtual geometric models of existing and new buildings are constructed digitally as well as physical properties and functions, through building-life-cycle offering information and knowledge to stakeholders.
With the development of concrete masonry unit (CMU), AEC industries pay more attention to the structure with less materials, energy, earth and water. As building industrialization develops continuously, reinforced concrete block masonry structure will absorb new designs and methodologies.
However, the workflow of reinforced concrete block masonry structure has not been fixed to a stable pattern until now, while the requirements in information flow from stakeholders of buildings have not been decided stably either. Especially for the new building structure system, the framework ponent of reinforced concrete block masonry structure has not been established. The further application and developed promotion of reinforced concrete block masonry structure were restricted seriously without enough practical projects.
