Around eleven o’ clock in the morning, I saw a traffic accident at the crossing of Jinhua Road near the Golden Flower Hotel.

I was then waiting to cross the street at the traffic lights when I saw a man walking quickly trying to cross the road. He didn’t seem to notice that the traffic lights were red. Just then, a blue Iveco rushed towards him. The car was so fast that it couldn’t stop though the driver braked very hard. The brakes screeched when the car stopped but it was too late. It ran over the man.
