INTRINSIC GOES THE EXTRA MILE FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPICES
Intrinsic Financial Services expect to raise over £60,000 gross for children’s hospice services across the country pleted a gruelling cycle ride from London to Paris. The challenge was in support of Children’s Hospices UK, Intrinsic’s national charity partner, which provides voice and support to all children’s hospice services across the UK.
The team of 34 cycled nearly 200 miles between 10 and 13 September. Starting in London the group cycled through beautiful English and French countryside before reaching Paris where they celebrated their achievement under the Eiffel Tower. Advisers, provider representatives and members of Intrinsic staff took part in the challenge, including CEO Richard Freeman and fellow Directors Dave Capel and Wallace Dobbin.
Intrinsic’s Managing Director Corporate Wallace Dobbin said: “Intrinsic has been proud to support Children’s Hospices UK for the past two years, and this year’s bike ride was our biggest event so far. A few bumps and bruises aside, we’re delighted that the entire pleted the challenge and more importantly beat our fundraising target.”
