Thorax airbag: a pressured bag is positioned between the door and the occupant to protect the ribs and the abdomen of the occupant. It is usually used together with a head protection system.

A head and thorax module protect the ribs, the abdomen and the head of the occupant.
It is usually used in cabriolet vehicle or vehicle not equipped with IC.
It is mounted in the vehicle the same way as a thorax module.

The thorax and pelvis module protects the ribs the abdomen and the pelvis of the occupant.
It pushes on the pelvis to increase the protection in severe crash or with poor vehicle characteristics.
It is mounted in the vehicle the same way as a thorax module
