摘要
目前,在语言教学界,传统的方法正在发生一些显著的变化:交际法、人性
化以及以学生为中心的方法被引入课堂。在大学英语教学中,大家一致认为学
生们需要有更多的机会来使用语言完成一些交际目的,并提高语言交际能力。
因此, 2002 年 10 月,上海交通大学外国语学院大外部鼓励老师们开设一
些新的课程,供学生们自由选择。其目的在于使教学方式多元化,提高教学效
率,满足不同层次学生的需要,从而提高学生的语言交际能力。
本论文主要探讨了有关《实用语言技能》这一课程的设计、实施以及评估方
面的一些问题。该课程主要基于交际语言教学法,任务型大纲,目的在于有助
于学生自主学习,把听说读写四种能力结合起来。
在本论文中,作者对于该课程以及任务型大纲设计的理论基础,课程的各阶
段包括需求分析、目标制定和教材的选择、大纲的实施、大纲的评估的情况进
行了详细的说明。对于一些研究问题进行了探讨:任务能否帮助学生的语言习
得,激励他们最大化地使用该语言并提高交际能力;采用以学生为中心的方式
能否激发他们的学习动机,克服语言学习过程中的恐慌和焦虑情绪,提高他们
的学习自主性等等。最后作者对于研究的结果进行了定量分析,并提出了一些
存在的问题和建议。

ABSTRACT
Nowadays, the language teaching world is witnessing a notable shift from structural
teaching approaches municative, humanistic, and learner-centered approaches.
In college English teaching, there is a general acceptance that students need plenty of
opportunities for language use to achieve municative objectives and build up
petence. Thus, in October, 2002, the School of Foreign Languages
(SFL) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University offered a series of courses to all the sophomore
students so as to carry out some school-based course development projects.
The main purpose of this thesis is to explore some issues concerning the design,
implementation and evaluation of Practical Language Skills, which was mainly based
on municative Language Teaching (CLT) approach. Its syllabus was a task-
based one with a methodological emphasis on optimizing students’ autonomy and
integrating the four skills.
In this thesis, different stages of the course, including needs analysis, material
selecting, implementation and evaluation will be elaborated and rationale will be
provided. Several questions will be explored which include whether the using of
authentic materials in reading classes would enhance students’ reading skills and
