目前,第三代移动通信已经在国外商用,在我国,3G也有望在近期建设商用网络。在网络建设之前,有必要对网络进行科学的规划。本文选取了目前应用较多的WCDMA 网络,并结合目前国内的网络现状,对WCDMA核心网络(R4版本)的规划及方法进行了研究和分析。
本文首先介绍了WCDMA整个网络的体系结构,)、无线接入网(UTRAN)和用户设备(uE)的构成和功能,然后着重介绍了WCDMA核心网各版本之间的演进,分析了R4版本核心网的组成,研究了电路域和分组域的配置,并分析了WCDMA核心网演进的情况。
然后在研究网络整体架构的基础上,本文对WCDMA R4核心网中各组成部分之间的接口进行了研究,介绍了各种接口的类型和主要功能。由于各模块之间的互通协调是关键,本文着重研究了各种接口协议。
基于上述的背景,本文介绍了WCDMA核心网规划的方法,对核心网络规划流程图和规划步骤进行简要介绍。然后详细的研究了各种接口的规划,对分组域和电路域的各种接口规划进行了讨论,定量研究了各种接口带宽计算的方法。
最后本文给出了WCDMA R4核心网规划的具体实例。以某省五个市的WCDMA 核心网规划为例,根据业务需求,首先确定了主要功能模块的配置方案,然后利用前面讨论的接口带宽计算方法对所需的各种接口进行了设计。
目前WCDMAR4产品正逐步走向成熟,网络商用化的脚步正在加快,在我国的商用指日可待,因此本文的研究将对WCDMAR4核心网络的规划建设有一定的参考意义。

Abstract
The third—generation(3G)munication system has mercially used in foreign works are expected to be constructed in China in the work planning is required before the beginning work on the work conditions,this paper investigates the methodology of planning the work ofWCMDA release iS widely used.
At first,this thesis introduces the architecture ofthe overall work,including
ponents and functions ),radio work(UTRAN)and user equipment(UE).Then,the configuration of WCDMA work is discussed,including the circuit field and packet evolution work iS also in仃oduced.
Based on the analysis about the overall configuration,this thesis detailedly discusses the interfaces between various main interfaces and their functions are the interconnection is the key issues,this thesis investigated various interface protocols.
Following the background,this thesis illustrates the methodology of the WCDMA work and steps of planning are briefly the details of the planning about different interfaces are planning about interfaces
in packet field and circuit field is method to calculate bandwidth of various
interfaces is also numerically investigated.
