豪尔赫·路易斯·博尔赫斯(1899—1986)是阿根廷著名的短篇小说家、散文家和诗人。博尔赫斯对中国和中国文化怀有很深的感情,作品中具有很多中国元素。本文通过分析其笔下诸多中国意象、中国人形象的表现形式和产生原因,利用影响研究,形象学、文本细读、后殖民理论等多元视角,对博尔赫斯的中国想象进行总体分析。
论文分为三章。
第一章主要追溯博尔赫斯是怎样同中国文学与文化结下深刻渊源, 又如何探讨中国文学和哲学。博尔赫斯通过各l杉'l-文译本阅读了大量中国文学作品和哲学典籍,对《红楼梦》、《聊斋志异》、《水浒传》等都从独特的视角引发了我们的更多思索。博尔赫斯深受老庄哲学的影响并将其融入自己的创作中。
第二章差要探讨博尔赫斯作品中出现的长城、《易经》、中国百科全书、花园、围棋等中国意象和三部小说中的中国人形象,勾勒出这些“符码"的表现形式和其背后的深层寓意。
第三章探讨博尔赫斯的中国想象产生的原因。中国作为东方遥远而古老的文明古国对于博尔赫斯的吸引,其神秘的艺术气息利于博尔赫斯更多的玄想。作为接受两方教育和文化背景濡染,通过各种译本了解中国和中国文化的博尔赫斯来说,中国这个文化他者不免会被加上西方集体想象的色彩。

ABSTRACT
Gorges Luis Borges(1 899—1 986)is an world—famous Argentina poet and likes Chinese culture SO much that his thinking and works are evidently influenced by Chinese Chinese elements can be found in his short stories and other analyzing the images from China and images of Chinese people,this thesis explores the reason of the images producing through the methods of impact study, image studies,Close reading and SO on,in order to give a general research of Borges’imagination of China.
This thesis divided into three chapters.
Chapter one explores the relations of Borges and Chinese culture
and how he discusses Chinese literature and reads a lot of translation version of Chinese classics,such as The Story of the Stone,Outlaws of the Marsh,Strange Tales ofa Lonely Studio and so on. He was deeply influenced by philosophy of Laozi and Zhuangzi and adopted it in his own works.
Chapter two mainly discusses the Chinese images found in Borges’ works such as Great Wall,Chinese encyclopedia,garden and SO images of Chinese people will also be analyzed to examine the hidden information behind the images.
