进城务工民工子女教育问题探讨——以浙江省为例
摘要
近年来,随着中国经济的迅猛发展,大量农民工投身于社会经济和城市现代化建设中,他们为城市的发展做出了巨大的贡献。在尚未建立起完善的适应社会人口流动的接纳性教育体系背景下,日益增长的农民工子女教育需求对现行教育体制提出了严峻的挑战,他们或留在家乡上学,成为“留守儿童”,或者随父母进城上学,成为“借读儿童”,还有的既不在家乡读书,也不在城市读书,变成“失学儿童”。他们是一批游走于城乡之间的特殊群体,他们的教育问题也是这些流动农民的心头之痛。关注和解决农民工子女的教育问题,赋予他们同等受教育的权利,对于体现教育公平,缓解社会矛盾,构建和谐社会意义重大。本文意从农民工子女教育现状入手,分析农民工子女教育的困境障碍,并在此基础上结合实际对当前进城农民工子女的教育问题提出几点建议,以供探讨。
