ABSTRACT
Objective: To ananlyse the associated factors of conducting HIV voluntary counseling and testing(VCT),to explore and build the suitable VCT
in dermatovenereology department for increasing the AIDS prevention effect.
Methods: In the dermatovenereology department of Ruikang hospital, both qualitative and quantitative methodologies were employed in the field 2008, we did the qualitative methodologies, including observation, referring to associated files and key-person interviews, were used
to learn the current basic service condition, attitude toward VCT and the medical staff’AIDS knowledge and skill in the dermatovenereology 2008, we trained the medical staff. From June 2008 to January 2010,quantitative methodologies used a structured questionnaire
designed to obtain information on patients'basis imformation ,
understanding of HIV/AIDS knowledge, understanding of VCT knowledge, attitude toward AIDS,the past testing and counseling the same time,did the VCT service for the willing the VCT,we developed the experience sharing sessions every anized examinations,
supervisored. Statistical analysis the patients’ scores of HIV/AIDS and VCT bination of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the associated factors of conducting VCT in the dermatovenereology department were identified. statistics HIV-positive rate and did the TCM discrimination.
