一、教材分析
本课以“rules and suggestions”为话题,以“Mr. Jackson告诉人们爬长城时应该注意的
一些事项为主题,通过听、读、说训练,要求学生重点掌握规则和建议的表达方法。
通过本课的学习,学生将重点掌握情态动词的用法,并能运用所学知识说一些应注意的规则
和提一些建议。
二、教学目标
1、学习、理解本单元的词汇、短语和句型结构,掌握它们的基本含义及用法
2、掌握情态动词can, must, have to ,should用于提建议的用法。
3、能听懂谈论“规则和建议”的对话,并从中获取其主要信息。
4、在语音方面能进行准确的连读。

一、课前延伸
1. 课前朗读自学并熟读本课的词汇。
2. 每日播报:A Pleasant Trip
新课导入
,然后引导学生说游览长城的规则并提建议。(多媒体展示长城画面)
听力训练
一听:Read through the words and expressions in the box together, read the questions quickly, and then listen carefully.
Check with a partner first and then call back the answers from the whole class.
二听判断正误
1、Betty is not bringing a ic.
2、Betty will be climbing huge mountains.
3、Betty’s mum asks them not to walk too close to the edge.
4、Betty doesn’t think a walking trip is so dangerous as crossing the road.
对话处理
1、读前听。多媒体展示教材4 Choose the best answer. Get students to read them first and then play the recording. Ss listen with their books closed and finish the part.
2、听后读
Read the conversation by themselves and finish part 5 and part 6. They can check the answers in groups
3、读后学
自主学习 Read the conversation carefully,circle the key words and phrases and underline the parts you do not understand.
合作探究Ask Ss to get into
