2008年5月1日,杭州湾跨海大桥正式开通,位于宁波市北仑区的梅山岛保税港区也已被国务院批准成立,进入建设阶段,这对宁波市招商引资工作有着巨大的促进作用。笔者在招商引资工作中接触过许多来宁波开发区投资的外商,通过与他们交流,了解了外商投资决策的程序和影响决策的因素,认识到外商在投资过程中,对物流的重视程度,同时也加深了对物流的理解,笔者认为在当前企业成本上升、美元持续贬值的经营环境下,只有提高物流管理水平,才可能增加企业竞争力,提高利润。本文拟结合宁波市招商引资重地——北仑区的实际情况谈谈加快企业物流建设的必要性以及提高企业物流管理水平的途径。
一、物流是第三利润源泉
