《风之谷》是宫崎骏的第一部真正意义上的动画长篇,也是久石让为宫崎骏担任音乐监督的第一部作品。从此之后,在长达20年的时间里,久石让一直是宫崎骏的御用作曲家。
《风之谷》以反战和环保为主题把动画上升到了人文的高度。全篇故事平稳沉着,为我们揭露了人性的丑陋与罪恶。在如此压抑的主题下,主人公那乌西卡就像是一道划破黑暗的光,她善良、勇敢、坚毅,用一切人性中的美好化解了矛盾,警醒了人类。
