Factors on the scientific research education for medical undergraduates: a case-control survey

【Abstract】 Objective To explore the factors influencing undergraduates to participate in sci-
entific researches. Methods The research was conducted through distributing questionnaires and
having interviews with sample groups. Results The students from the major Maternity and Child Care
did better job in participating scientific researches and publishing papers than those who majored in
five- year program. Conclusion Establishing information platforms on scientific researches, reinforcing
propaganda munication of scientific information, enhancing knowledge on how to do research-
es, providing necessary training to help students acquiring skills, and increasing accesses to scientific
researches are effective measures to improve the participat
