项目简介
“中国农村地区水资源管理与饮水安全”项目由联合国开发计划署、水利部、商务部中国国际经济技术交流中心和可口可乐公司四方合作建立,项目为期4年,,旨在通过调查、研究、培训、示范和宣传等一系列活动,增强水资源规划能力,完善管理机制,加强农村水治理和决策能力。在地方层面上,该项目将着重在四川、黑龙江、新疆和辽宁四个省建立示范点,力图改善农村地区的饮用水质量和饮用水状况,提高水源性地方流行病的预防和治疗水平,强化水源保护和生态环境恢复能力,促进生态修复和生态农业的发展。在项目的总体架构之下,企业与公共部门合作的重点是在四川和新疆等农村地区的小学建立试点项目。这些小学目前缺乏基本的卫生设施,如清洁的厕所。该项目不仅将帮助改变这一状况,同时在学校健康管理方面实施健康教育和技术培训,以减少水源性疾病的发生,并提高小学生的保健意识和知识.
Project Profile
“Improved Water Resources Management and Drinking Water Safety in Rural Regions of China” project, funded by local government, UNDP and Coca-pany, is formulated by UNDP, CICETE and Ministry of Water Resources with a total input of US$ 6,792,000 during a 4-year period. It aims at enforcement of water resource planning, management, rural water monitoring and decision making through a series of including as policy and strategic research, multi-level training munity based participation, demonstration engineering and dissemination. At local level, 4 plot sites will be established in Sichuan, Heilongjiang, Xinjiang and Liaoning respectively to improve local drinking water supply and safety, prevent water-borne diseases, control and manage nonpoint pollution and facilitate the ecological rehabilitation and develop eco-agriculture. Within the project framework, it emphasizes and highlights closer public and private partnership, which reflects in Coca-Cola's contribution to establish 4 pilot elementary schools (Phase I) in rural areas of Sichuan and Xinjiang, where have difficulties in accessing to safely drinking water and are lack of sanitation facilities. The project will, not only improve drinking water safety, sani
