The purpose of this study was to develop a document management system coupling with RFID technology and to replace the present signature method when the people received a document. A document with the document management system can be traced automatically because each document having hung the Auto-tag on the cover itself will be scanned once it was received by reviewers. The status information can be seen on the screen of puter by executing the software developed in this study. The development of this document management system using systems engineering procedure intends to bring the advantage of time saving and reduced risk using RFID technology. Blanchard and Fabrycky’s procedure was selected in this study. This document management system with 5 tag readers is installed on the user’s for reliability test. The test results and the process will be discussed in this paper.
