摘要:本文从三个方面探讨了高校图书馆与分馆(即资料室)间的双轨发展。首先,强调了校一级图书馆与各院(所)分图书馆是共性与个性的有机统一体,彼此都在各自的生存空间运作,有着不同的信息环境和专业资源条件。随后论述了分图书馆的专业特色文献资源的开发和利用。最后着重强调了双轨发展的重要性和发展的措施。

Discussion on the Dual-Track Development of University Main Library and Branch Libraries

Abstract: This paper discusses the dual-track development of university main library and branch libraries (., reference rooms) from three aspects. Firstly, the paper highlights that university main library and branch libraries are anic unity between generality and individuality, operating in their respective spaces, with different information environment and discipline-specific resources. Then the development and utilization of discipline-specific literature resources are discussed. Finally, the importance of dual-track development and the measures for development are emphasized.

由于历史的原因,各高等院校不仅有校一级图书馆,各院(系)一般都设有资料室,随着高等院校院系学科的发展其逐渐发展为各院(所)学科分图书馆。高校图书馆与各院(所)分图书馆在职能上有差别,并有各有其优势。要充分发挥图书馆和分图书馆在高校教学与科研中的作用,就有必要了解两者的共性和不同,做到图书馆与各分图书馆双轨发展。
一、校图书馆与分图书馆是一个统一的有机整体
任何事物都是矛盾普遍性和特殊性的辨证统一。普遍性是事物的共性,特殊性是事物的个性,共性存于个性之中,并通过个性表现出来。校一级图书馆与分图书馆也是共性与个性的统一。共性是图书馆群体特征的体现,个性则反映各个分图书馆所具有的特殊形式和内容。每
