A Chinese Artist in Harlem
New York
New York is the whole American financial economic center, the largest port and the most populous city, is the world's economic center. Race in New York city has a lot of immigrants from more than 180 countries and regions, is known as a “melting pot” so, It create a unique cultural mix that is exciting and different.

Main Idea
When Ming liang Lu moved from Shanghai to New York City in 1990, he brought with him his skills as an artist. At first, he used these skills to survive as a street artist painting portraits of tourists. Then Ming got a position at the Chinese Cultural Center in NY and he began going to schools in Harlem to teach students about Chinese culture through art. While painting, his students learn about Chinese culture and about diversity in general.

Part II (Para. 5-8) : Ming stop painting on the street to work for the New York Chinese Cultural Center.
Part III (Para. 9—11):The program of New York Chinese Cultural Center benefits not only the artist, but the children as well.
Part IV (Para. 12-16):Ming play a role of cultural ambassador.
