摘要
“语言帝衡,越来越受到语言学家等人的关注。然而,仍有学者认为根本不存在所谓的“语言帝国主义”, 它只是对英语传播现象的夸大,因此这一理论现象仍没有引起人们足够的关注,从而对本民族或本国语言没有给予足够的重视和保护。本文拟对英语帝国主义作初步的介绍,研究其产生的缘由和影响,并针对这一现象提出相应的对策,以期使人们对语言帝国主义有初步了解,并对保护本民族语言做出努力,进而保持全球的语言生态平衡。

ABSTRACT
“Linguistic imperialism” affects the ecological environment of language. It gradually attracts the linguists’ attention. However, some scholars believe that there is no so-called “linguistic imperialism” and it is only the exaggeration of the spread of English. As a result, this phenomenon does not gain people’s solicitude and people pay little attention to emphasize and protect their national or indigenous language. The paper will make the preliminary introduction of English linguistic imperialism and make some researches on the reasons and consequences of it and give some measures to deal with it, in order to help people deal with this phenomenon properly, have a simple understanding of linguistic imperialism, make their efforts to protect their national language and keep the ba
