Readiness code
Function
The readiness code is an 8-digit number
code which displays the status of the
emission relevant diagnosis.
When the diagnosis for a system (.
secondary air system) has been
pleted, the corresponding
position in the number code will change from
1 to 0.
The diagnosis is performed at regular
intervals during normal driving. It is
mended that the readiness code be
generated after performing repairs on an
emission relevant system, to guarantee that
these systems function correctly. If a
malfunction is detected during the diagnosis
it will be stored in the DTC memory.
Each time the DTC memory is erased or the
voltage supply is interrupted the readiness
code will be erased.
