论世纪之交的“教授小说”现象

摘要
20 世纪 90 年代以来,随着社会转型的逐渐深入和现代化进程的不断推进,
我国知识分子的生存状态和内心世界都发生了引人注目的变化。高校教授作为知
识分子中最具特征和代表性的一类,他们的行为准则和心态的异化,尤为令人瞠
目。不少作家敏锐的感受到了这一现象,并竞相涉足这一领域,使反映高校教授
生存状态和精神面貌的小说创作大量涌现,并渐呈升温之势。
尽管这类取材高校的“教授小说”在世纪之交的文坛上已经出现了初步繁荣
的景象,但评论界对它的反应却稍显冷淡,甚至有些滞后,更谈不上系统的研究
和评价了。本文旨在选取几部有代表性的作品作为细读的中心对象,较为系统的
剖析它们所展示的知识分子身份异化现象及其意蕴,并阐释这些作品为表现特定
内容在艺术形式方面做出的探索。
全文分为四章。
第一章在界定笔者所理解的“知识分子”、“异化”等概念的前提下,从两个
角度——三类异化的教授形象、形形色色的教授异化现象——对小说文本所展示
的教授异化问题详加论说。
第二章在细读文本的基础上,归纳总结出众多优秀的“教授小说”所揭示的
教授异化现象产生的深刻而复杂的主客观原因,并阐发了文本中所蕴涵的警示醒
人的价值与呼唤人文理想重建的意义。
第三章的论述围绕“教授小说”的文本形式特征展开,从结构布局、叙事视
角和表现手法三个方面解读了小说文本艺术形式上的特色。
第四章着眼于分析“教授小说”在文本意蕴和形式方面存在的若干缺失。

Abstract
With the constant deepening of social transformation and the continuous progress
of the modernization process, the inner world and the survival condition of intellectual
in China have changed dramatically since 1990s. Professor is the most characteristic
and representative one of intellectual. The alienation of their rules of conduct and
their state of mind are incredible. The fact that many writers have sensed acutely this
phenomenon and they have set foot in this petitively leads to a bloom of
novels which reflects the survival condition and the mental attitude of professors. It
tends to be warm.
Although “novels concerning professor” have presented the primary prospect since
the turn of century, the reaction of critics is indifferent and even hysteretic. It is
impossible to consider the systematic research and evaluation. The paper centers on
some representative works, analyzes systematically the identity alienation and its
implication of intellectual and illustrates their exploration in artistic form that aims to
display the specific content.
The paper includes four chapters.
