What can do education systems to e more innovative? This book analyses SyStEmiC innOvatiOn in
systemic innovation in education by looking at the ways in which educational systems
encourage innovation, the knowledge base and processes used, and the procedures vOCatiOnal EDuCatiOn
and criteria used to assess progress and evaluate es. It draws on findings from Working Out Change anD training
14 case studies in Vocational Education and Training in six OECD countries: Australia,
Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Mexico and Switzerland. The resulting analysis helps us
understand how we can support and sustain innovation in educational systems in the
VET sector.
This book’s main findings and policy mendations will interest researchers,
policy makers and practitioners in the fields of education, public sector innovation and
vocational education and training.
