Preface
This Workbook, USING THE BBI, introduces students, teachers, translators, and other interested people
to the binatory Dictionary of English. The Workbook explains how the BBI is constructed,
demonstrates how collocations differ from binations and idioms, and shows how collocations of
all types can be identified and found quickly. Users of the Workbook will e well acquainted with all
