摘要:爱情是文学永恒的主题,无论中西作家都以其特有的方式、理念在其作品中演绎着各种各样的爱情故事。以“人伦为本位”的中国爱情观以“父母之命,媒妁之言”为总体规范,使得许多美好的爱情婚姻被扼杀;以“个人为本位”的西方爱情观虽然说在人性、自由的掩护下滋生了大量自私、放荡的毒素,但总体来说却是自由的、开放的、直接的,同时也是提倡平等的。方鸿渐出生于一个封建世家,又留过洋学习了西方文化,因此他具有中西两种不同的爱情价值取向,小说中他与四个女人的感情纠葛正是这两种爱情观的具体体现。在这两种爱情观的冲突之下,他的婚姻也是不幸的。本文主要以中西方不同的爱情观为发端,找出两者差异冲突之处,从而探究方鸿渐婚恋悲剧的主要原因。

Abstract: Love is the permanent theme of literature, both eastern and western writers made different kinds of love stories in their works by using some special way or extraordinary ideas. The Chinese love concept, which took humanism as its theme, regarded “ The parents’ order and the medium’s saying” as a general principle, that made many happy love or marriage killed; Though the western love concept, which took person as its theme, produced some selfish poison under the cover of humanity and freedom, it was kind of equality, as well as free, open and direct. Fang Hongjian, born from a feudal family, learned much western culture abroad, thus he had pletely different kinds of love concept, and plicated his concept clearly. In the conflict between the two different love concepts, his marriage was also a failure. This text took the different eastern and western love concepts as the beginning and it aimed to find out the main conflict between the two for the study of the cause of Fang Hongjian’s failed marriage.
