90年代中期以来,美国信息技术产业以年均30%的速度高速增长,并逐渐成为美国最大的支柱产业之一。信息产业不仅改变了企业的整体面貌,而且改变了美国,增强了美国的国际竞争力。大量的研究表明,美国信息技术大大提高了企业生产率,有效降低了企业的经营成本,是美国的主要推动力量。 
本文首先分析了美国信息产业的概况,接着研究了信息产业对美国经济的影响,然后着重对美国信息技术发展举措进行了阐述和验证,最后分析美国的信息技术产业发展对我国经济发展的启示,并提出了政策建议,以期对我国的经济发展提供一定的理论依据。
