1 Scope
This standard applies in those cases where welds according to VW 011 06-1 do ply with
the requirements specified in that standard but can be repaired by corresponding rework.
Rework requires the approval of the engineering department.
2 Definitions

Imperfections in welds:
pores, notches, cracks, lack of fusion and others as well as welds that are too short or one-sided
welds, see DIN EN ISO 5817.
3 Requirements
Imperfections that are impermissible according to VW 011 06-1 as well as missing welds must be
properly repaired.
