【Abstract】Both teaching and learning play important roles in education. In addition,
independent learning leads the learning style on campus. University students’ attitude towards
learning directly influences the results. Curriculum designing should be based on the need of
students to some extent in order to bring about a win-win situation.

成理的结论,文章思路清晰,结构完整,逻辑严密,重点突出,英语行文颇为流畅。

Introduction
Teaching, as well as, learning is the most ponent of education on campus nowadays
around the world, especially in China. In fact, not only the nation is but also the society’s claim for
education is realized through varied teaching activities, most of which should be based on
teaching and learning by teachers and students. Can an exact definition of teaching be made to
explain the importance of it? Traditionally, it’s considered simply a synonym of the word
TEACHING, which conveys the meaning of the professional work carried out by teachers in
Chinese. That’s something like instructing. Certainly the traditional opinion has been criticized by
men of insight now and then.
In modern society, it’s mon concept that the process of education should be focused on
the participation of both teachers and students, the absence of either could result in failure of the
education. While lacking of the participation of either teachers or students would break the
balance of teaching and learning. We can conclude from this aspect that teachers and students play
