Top Ten Tips for Travelling in Japan
1. Do not forget to take off your shoes
Please do as the Romans do when you are in Japan. You need to take off your shoes whether entering the hotel room, visiting the Japanese home, or going to the meeting room and the office. In short, as long as e into the room, you have to put on slippers, and sometimes you even need to change into slippers twice. The custom of changing into slippers cannot be violated in Japan. Therefore, do not forget to take off your shoes before entering the room.
2. Make sure to take an umbrella when going out
Remember to take an umbrella when you go out. Japan has a maritime climate and the volatile barometer, so it is considerate to prepare an umbrella. Take a folding umbrella when you go traveling and take a gentleman umbrella when you do business or visit relatives.
