Abstract: In order to e the ings or insufficiency of analysis methods individually
based on graph theory or quantitative analysis method, semi-quantitative fault diagnosis method based
on graph theory and fuzzy bined with functional fault analysis (FFA) theories and Failure
Mode and Effects Analysis(FMEA) is studied. And a multi-hierarchical functional directed graph
modeling method is proposed for aircraft system fault diagnosis. Nacelle Anti-Ice subsystem of an aero
engine is taken as a specific application to present the detailed MHFDG modeling method.

0 Introduction
Hybrid system is a class plex system which has continuous dynamic characteristic,
discrete dynamics characteristic, or the interaction of above two dynamic characteristics. In
real world, plex systems have above mixed characteristics and are hybrid systems[1].
Among the positions of hybrid systems, there are some qualitative, quantitative or
