摘要
由 GIS 技术与网络技术相结合而产生的 WebGIS 是目前 GIS 行业研究的热点之
一,它改变了传统的 GIS 运行服务模式,提供一种简单、快速、直观的发布地理信
息的方式,使用户可以通过网络来快速的获取、共享地理信息,由此加快了 GIS 的
大众化步伐。然而,传统的 WebGIS 实现方式各自存在一些缺陷,如:网络流量大、
空间处理能力弱、服务器负担重、负载不均衡等等,于是需要引入新的技术对其进
行改进。
本文首先介绍了课题的来源、目的意义以及 WebGIS 技术在国内外的发展、研
究现状,并分析了 WebGIS 存在的一些问题。其次,对目前流行的 Ajax 技术的概念、
原理,以及 Ajax 的相关技术进行了介绍,并对其优缺点进行了详细的分析。三是对
WebGIS 技术的概念、原理、实现技术以及其目前存在的一些问题进行了详细的分析。
在此基础上,将 Ajax 技术应用到 WebGIS 系统开发中,并分析了引入 Ajax 后可能会
给系统带来哪些优化。最后结合实际工程应用背景,以 ArcGIS Server 为 GIS 服务基
础平台, Framework 为开发平台,设计并实现了基于 Ajax 的湖北省水土保持
信息发布 WebGIS 系统。通过对系统的测试,证明了将 Ajax 引入 WebGIS 系统确实
达到了预期的降低网络流量、减少客户端请求、降低服务器负担的效果。文章的最
后对研究中存在的问题以及后续的工作进行了展望。

Abstract
One of the current hot points in Geographic Information System research is focus on
WebGIS by bination of GIS technology work pared with
the traditional Geographic Information System, WebGIS has changed the service mode
and provided a more quick and intuitive way to publish the geographic
information,making it possible to access and share the geographic information through
for ,there are some ings in the traditional WebGIS
implementations,such as:work traffic,spatial processing capacity is weak,the
heavy burden on the server,load imbalance,etc.,so the new technologies should be used to
improve it.
First, the source of the subject,the purpose and significance of the subject and the
developing history and research status of WebGIS technology in China and overseas is
summarized. Then the concepts, principles and implements of AJAX, WebGIS technology,
and their advantages and disadvantages are introduced separately and in detail. On this
basis, the idea of applying Ajax technology into the WebGIS system is raised and the
possible optimization of the system after Ajax application is discussed. At last, Ajax ba
