The South-to-North Water Transfer Project is a long-term and arduous project,due to the influence of the external environment,may cause the control point displacement or lost,to ensure the quality of the project,in the construction of the original work retest and optimization design of the actual situation,in order to test the original coordinates of control points are correct,and the work is this paper,using GPS data HC,through parative analysis of influence of GPS baseline quality of conventional surface observations,the completeness of data accuracy,quality,quantity and distribution of work,the structure and the method of data processing for work quality. Study on some requirements and contents of work optimization following conclusions:(1)The basic elements of GPS network is a GPS baseline vector,the quality of the baseline vectors determines the quality of the GPS measurement and data processing,must take appropriate quality control measures to ensure that it can meet the GPS baseline requirements of the project.(2)Try starting points distributed control network within the region,it is3or4 is best,coincidence measurement specification,accuracy can guarantee,the minimum amount of work, low cost.(3)Foraparticular work,the more the number of observations(Including GPS baseline vectors and conventional ground observations), the higher the overall quality of work,the higher the overall quality work,(4)As a result
