Abstract
Along with the correspondence further development, 3G has mercially
used in more and more many countries and areas. Compare to 2G, munication is
much plex, operating corporation after the scale deployed the work, needs
work management system to manage these equipment. This
work management system usually uses for the maintenance of these
equipment. At the same time, the TMN also provides some service, for example: Cost
function and so on. In here, the main is to introduce the fault management function which
does correlate to the system of work state.
TMN is the technology which does profit from the OSI by ITU-T, defines the
network architecture as the management munication service. TMN based on the
concept of OSI system, and has developed in the application of munication. It
causes work management system and the work under the
standard architecture, according to standard connection and standard information form
exchange management information, thus make the function work e
true. One of TMN basic principles is to separate the management function and the
munication function. work administrator can manage this equipment which
distributes in the different level of node. The goal of TMN is to provide group of standard
interface, to make the management of work and operate the equipment easily. TMN
proposed is to a great extent in order to satisfy the connective request among the various
part work. The central management and distributional processing are the TMN
prominent characteristics.
Base on the real analysis of a case, unified an mercial munication
network management system to introduce the fault management. This set of system
provides performance management, disposition management, fault management which
belong to TMN. The fault management is a very important function of TMN, which is
