摘要

翻译心理学是近几年新兴起的一门交叉学科,它主要是研究译者在翻译过程
种的心理活动。虽然翻译心理学并不是当下翻译界谈论最多的翻译理论, 但作
为一门新兴学科它为我们提供了一种新的研究翻译规律的视角,一方面,译者
在翻译过程中必然要产生心理活动,否则翻译根本无法进行。另一方面,译者作
为翻译的主体,不可避免要在译作中留下自己的影子。所以本文的写作目的就是
通过《了不起的盖茨比》三个中译本的比较,试图找出在翻译过程中,翻译心理
对译者的影响,进而发现二者之间微妙的关系。本文通过分析讨论翻译心理学在
译本中的体现,旨在探索出翻译心理如何影响译者在翻译过程中的翻译心理。
本文属于个案对比研究,即从翻译心理学角度对《了不起的盖茨比》三个中
译本的比较看翻译心理学在译本中的体现。这三个中文译本分别是范岳的《大人
物盖茨比》(1983)、巫宁坤的《了不起的盖茨比》(2002)和姚乃强的《了不起
的盖茨比》(2004)。写作目的是找出翻译心理如何影响译者的翻译活动。第一章
主要介绍写作目的、意义和文章结构。第二章介绍《了不起的盖茨比》、作者及
译者、译本。第三章介绍翻译心理学理论。第四章主要对三个中文译本做了对比
研究,从语言学、文化、逻辑三方面对翻译心理进行了分析。语言学方面包括词
语的拼写、词语的翻译、句子的翻译、语法的翻译;语境部分包括宏观语境和微
观语境的翻译;文化方面主要是文化差异与心理差异和跨文化翻译心理;逻辑部
分主要是时间逻辑、地点逻辑、原因逻辑、风格表达、主观与客观表达、延伸和
关联。最后的第五章本文总结了各个对比的不同之处,不仅涉及到语言、文化、
语境还包括翻译心理和逻辑。

翻译心理的研究,是从新的视角对翻译理论的研究,深化对翻译本质的了解、
分析翻译活动并验证翻译心理在翻译过程中的表现方式。

Abstract

Translation psychology is a newly emerged translation theory which
investigates translator’s psychological activity in the process of translating. It is a
science which is concerned about the relationship between translation and psychology.
On one hand, translator can not translate without his psychological activity. On the
other hand, translator as the subject in translating, inevitably, will find himself in his
translation. So this thesis intends to explore how translation psychology takes place in
three Chinese versions of The Great Gatsby, a great book with various Chinese
versions. By the application and the description of translation psychology, the
approach intends to provide a way to construct a new theoretical system of translation
studies and to guide the whole process of translation as well as translation related
activities. Therefore it may greatly widen the theoretical scope of translation studies.
