摘要:随着无线通信系统传输速率的不断提升,采用 DSP 进行数字基带处理的基站以及软
件无线电面临着严峻的考验。针对于此,德州仪器公司(TI)推出了新产品 TMSC6670DSP,
其中的比特级协处理器(BCP)将大幅度提升数字基带部分的处理性能。BCP 是一个可编
程的外设,专门用来进行基带比特级的数据处理,支持 FDD/TDD-LTE、 WCDMA、
TD-SCDMA、HSPA、HSPA+等多种通信协议。本文详细介绍了 BCP 处理器的架构与配置,
并举例说明了该处理器在 LTE 系统中的应用,最后根据实测数据对 BCP 处理器的性能进行
了评估。

Abstract: With the rapid growth of data rate munication systems, base stations and SDR
with DSP processing baseband data are facing serious challenges. Texas Instrument has then
brought up a new product TMSC6670 DSP. The Bit Rate Coprocessor (BCP) in this DSP can
enhance enormously the performance of base station in baseband data processing. BCP is a
programmable peripheral for baseband bit processing, it supports FDD/TDD-LTE, WCDMA,
TD-SCDMA, HSPA, HSPA+, etc. This article introduces the architecture and configuration of
BCP, and further, the application of BCP in LTE system. At the end of this article, a performance
analysis is provided according to tested data real-timely.
