[摘要] 文章从媒介生态视角出发,认为世界上不存在绝对孤立、封闭的传播活动,所有影响媒介种群生存发展的生态因子都可视作媒介环境。城市营造出丰富的媒介环境,而媒介也通过各种方式建构城市的环境和人们的生活体验。论文对城市在媒介生态系统中的角色和地位以及城市与媒介的关系进行分析,提出了城市是媒介的环境、城市是媒介的群落,以及城市是媒介的生态位等三个观点。

City and Media in the Perspective of Media Ecology

Abstract: Based on media ecology, this paper argues that there is no such thing as absolutely isolated and closed dissemination activities in the world, and that all ecological factors affecting the survival and development of media populations are regarded as part of media environment. The city breeds the rich media environment; media also constructs the urban environment and people's life experiences in a variety of ways. After analyzing the role and status of the city in the media ecosystem as well as the relationship between the city and the media, this paper concludes that the city is the media environment, the munity and the niche for mass media.
