As a developing country, China makes every effort to spread its time-honoured history and culture to the world. In this way can people of other countries know China better, and this will help to increase the mutual understanding between China and the world. As a kind ofpopular TV program, documentary is a good approach for people to know the outside world. In the past years, China has produced many influential documentaries to introduce China to the modern world. In this report, the writer will mainly talk about the translation of A bite of China, a essful documentary in China, which mainly talks about the specific Chinese food and food culture. Since this documentary is about Chineseculture, one task of the translation is to promote the culture communication between China and the world.
