Based onSapir-Whorf hypothesis and error analysis, thisstudy mainly exploresthe influence of L1thinkingon L2 writing process. The subjects of the research are 30 non-English majors from Shandong Economic the process of research, the researcher positionwriting from a picture to train the participants andasksthemto complete athink-aloud task while writing a composition from CET4. The researcher mainly adopts think-aloud method and also uses a post-writing questionnaire to collect data. The aims of the research are mainly to explore the proportion of L1thinking in L2 writing process,the positive influence of L1 thinking on L2 writingprocess,and whether the proportion of L1usehas a direct relation tothe proficiency of L2 learning in vocational research findings are given as follows: 1) It can be seen from the proportion of L1 use in the L2 writing processthat all the three groups use L1 (Chinese)thinking in the process of L2 writing, but the propo
