Resume The intent of this book is a concise introduction to the field of nonrelativistic and
relativistic quantum mechanics. A historical account of the Heisenberg and the Schrödinger
theories is given, and traditional applications to the hydrogen atom are outlined. All details
of calculations are given and supplemented with related materials from the Maxwell Electro-
dynamics and Special Relativity.
The book can be used as a source for a two-semester lecture course on Nonrelativistic Quan-
tum Mechanics, as well as for a one-semester course on either the Relativistic Quantum Me-
chanics, Classical Electrodynamics, or the Classical Field Theory.
