Abstract
The paper gives a bibliographical review of the finite element analyses and simulations of manufacturing processes of
composite materials and their mechanical properties from the theoretical as well as practical points of view. Topics
include: filament winding process; braiding, weaving and knitting; fiber preforms and resin injection; pultrusion;
compression molding; injection molding; extrusion and other specific manufacturing processes and processes in general.
The bibliography at the end of this paper contains 954 references to papers, conference proceedings and theses/dis-
sertations dealing with presented subjects that were published between 1985 and 2003.
