摘要
近年来,顺应世界高等教育大众化的潮流,我国高等学校数量逐年增加,高
等职业教育也顺势发展,实现了高等职业教育发展的历史性跨越,业已成为现代
国民教育体系的有机组成部分,成为社会经济发展的重要基础。社会主义现代化
建设的飞速发展,国家第十一个五年发展规划的要求以及素质教育理念的提出,
对高等职业教育提出了更高的要求,因此,从社会需要和国家规划的要求出发,
从素质教育的视角探讨高等职业教育的改革与发展具有较强的现实意义。
全面实施素质教育已成为我国教育改革的一项重要而紧迫的任务,代表了我
国未来教育发展的基本方向。从素质教育的视角看,我国高等职业教育还存在如
下问题:在人才培养定位方面,缺乏前瞻性,与社会需求脱节,忽视学生的个性
发展,重技术轻人文;在教学方法上,以教师为中心,而不是以学生为中心,以
课堂为中心,而不是以社会需求为中心;在课程设置上,脱离社会实践,文化课
程设置不合理;在教师素质上,教师缺乏创造性。这些问题的存在,严重影响了
我国高等职业素质教育的发展。
德国、美国、澳大利亚等国的高等职业教育有很多宝贵的经验值得我国高等
职业教育学习与借鉴,如重视校企合作、确立以市场为导向的办学原则、建立以
“应用”为主旨的课程体系、重视“双师型”师资队伍建设、重视职业能力,建
立职业资格证书体系等。
针对我国高等职业教育存在的问题,借鉴国外经验,基于素质教育理念,我
国高等职业教育应从以下几方面进行改革:在观念上,树立以就业为导向的教学
理念,树立个性化和创造性的素质教育观,树立科学精神与人文精神相统一的素
质教育观念。在教学方法上,注重产学结合,校企结合,创建以学生为中心的教
学方式。在课程设置上,建立以“应用”为主旨的课程体系,设置适当的文化课
程。从提高教师素质上,要造就一支“双师型”和专兼职结合的师资队伍,培养
教师创新意识,提高教师的业务水平。
