3. I like being outside, near beautiful lakes and hills. 我喜欢在户外,靠近美丽的湖泊和群山。
be 本身是系动词am, is, are的原形,放在like后表示习惯爱好时用现在分词形式。
联想:outside 在外面;__ side 在里面; __side 在…旁边

Notes:1. on+日期/星期/有形容词等定语修饰的时间(具体的某一天)
Examples:on a warm day 在一个温暖的日子 on a rainy Monday 在一个多雨的星期一
2. She got tired of having nothing to do.
她对无所事事感到厌烦。got tired of 意为“对……感到厌烦”。
have + 不定代词(something,anything,nothing)+ to do. 意为“有(没有)……去做的事情”。
3. She looked up and saw a white rabbit with a coat running by.
see sb. doing (sth.) 看见某人正在做…
run by 跑过
4. said the rabbit, and then it took a watch out of its pocket and looked at the time.
said the rabbit 这只兔子说。said是say的过去式,放在主语前构成倒装。
took(take)…out of…把…从…掏出来
. I took my money out of my pocket.
我从口袋里掏出了钱。
