for making pletion of my thesis possible in due time.

First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest and warmest gratitude to
my supervisor, Professor Hong Zengliu, for his valuable advice and insightful
guidance during my thesis writing as well as the entire process of my study. He
always offers me constructive suggestions and gives me encouragement whenever I
have difficulties. Without his consistent help, this thesis would not e to the
present form.

I also feel greatly indebted to all my teachers in the School of Foreign Studies:
Prof. Chen Zhengfa, Prof. Hua Quankun, Prof. Chen Bing, Associate Prof. Qi Tao,
