主要由供水泵组、稳流装置、倒流防止器、控制装置、负压消除器等部分组成,其工作原理是在管网压力允许的情形下直接从管网吸水,利用市政管网的压力,节约能源。无负压供水设备吸水量小于管网供水能力时,并不会造成管网压力的降低,但在用水高峰时段,水泵的吸水量大于管网供水量时,市政管网压力降低,造成稳流器内压力也相应的降低,当稳流器的压力降至低于大气压力时,稳流补偿器上部的负压防止器打开,水泵从稳流器内吸水,此时稳流器和大气连通,相当于一个小的盛水容器。在此条件下,无负压供水设备并不能利用管网的供水压力
