我国(日本国)的压铸机在铸造技术上有明显的优势,而且有合金范围广的特性,铸件表面平滑,尺寸精确,能进行批量生产等等的特长,为此,作为不可欠缺的多种多样规格的工业制品构成部件已给各相关产业带来了很大的发展前景。
压铸工业根据长期积累的生产技术与经验,必须要编制各种标准,以便能对应时常发展的新型应用领域的设计与规格,在高品质中最经济地批量生产利用价值高的制品。
本文,(社)日本压铸协会为了使金属铸造的需求者以及制造者能充分应用设计制造、交易等,设定了按以下所示压铸标准DCS(Die Casting Standards)推荐的基础。
1.DCS D1 (模具篇;Dies)
2.DCS D (模具交易篇;Dies Deal)
3.DCS E (设计篇;Engineering)
4.DCS M (材料篇;Material)
5.DCS P1 (铝合金压铸作业篇;Practice for Alminium alloy Die casting)
6.DCS P2 (锌合金压铸作业篇;Practice for zinc alloy Die casting)
7.DCS Q (品质篇;Quality)
8.DCS T (专业术语篇;Terms)
以上所示的压铸标准具有相关的关连性,所以特别希望能加以综合利用。
本篇“压铸标准”是(社)日本压铸协会的各担当委员会在参考日本工业规格(JIS)、ASTM规格、北美压铸协会(NADCA)的压铸标准等基础资料的基础上,进行汇编的。

另外,本篇的DCS T(专业术语篇)是在本篇前身的压铸专业术语集的基础上,经过2002年底技术委员会的审议后作为第3版发行的。这次,又通过2004年年度标准化委员会(原技术委员会)全面修正后,以修订版出版。
