Grace Shaw shivered as she took a seat in front of puter and booted up. It was four o’clock in
the morning and she’d been out in the cold, English rain for hours. Even in her thick, velour robe and
matching slippers, Grace couldn’t shake the cold. She couldn’t go to sleep either.
How could she, when she had a possible clue as to who killed Francesca Woods? The
seventy-two-year-old woman’s mutilated body had turned up late last night. Grace had been tasked with
