一、委婉式评语
委婉式评语是指教师采用委婉、善意的语言指出学生在作业中反映出的学习态度或方法等方面的问题并提出改进的意见。英语中可用委婉的虚拟语气、委婉语气或真实条件语句来提出希望或表达批评的意见。
常用的评语有：“How 1 wish you could spend more time on !”“ r0uld you please be more confident in class?”

二、表扬式评语
表扬式评语是指教师采用赞美和鼓励的语言表扬学生继续努力的评语。这类评语可以增强学生的习信心，提高其学习英语的兴趣。因此，作业评语要生动活泼，因人而异；要有针对性，切忌千篇一律，呆板教条。常用的评语有：“Congratulations! You got it right!”
“Now you have got the hang of it!”
“You’re getting better every day! ”
三、启发式评语
启发式评语是指教师采用能够促进学生对问题的深人理解、促进学生主动思维的评语。这类评语能给学生提供一个再思考的机会和想象的空间，从而促进他们对问题的理解，激发灵感，促进思维能力的发展，引导其向着更深的层次思考。常用的评语有：
“If we meet someone for the first time．what expressions can we use to greet them?’’
“If the subject is plura1．according to the rules of agreement，how can you correct it?”
“If you wan t to express probability，which modal verb should be used here?”
“Why don’t you try using an other way to communicate with your parents?”
四、劝勉式评语
劝勉式评语是教师用很委婉的语气提出自己的看法或建议，并指出今后如何复习和巩固所学知识，如何做各种类型的作业。这类评语能使他们树立信心，振奋精神，增进师生的感情。常用的评语有：
